If you’re a student planning on going to college or want to get a head start on college, it’s best to know ahead of time which CLEP exams to take.
Not all colleges accept CLEP credits, and if they do, some schools are very selective. Head over to the official College Board CLEP website and go to clep.collegeboard.org.
Once you’re there, go to the menu option: Colleges that Recognize CLEP, then CLEP College Credit Policy Search.
Next, enter the name of the college or university of your choice to see which CLEP exams credits they accept. For this example, I looked up Liberty University.
Liberty University has a very generous CLEP credit policy. They award credits for every single CLEP exam out there!
But keep in mind, not all college and universities are this generous with awarding CLEP credits. You need to do your research and prepare accordingly. Look up the school you want to attend to see which CLEP credits they accept.
